Blog Name Change

Yes as the blog title has announced, we are about to have an addition to this wonderful family!

In about three weeks a little 'miss' or 'mister' will arrive and shower us with amazing blessings...

We are all excited and the anticipation is rising through this household!

Rearranging has been a top priority as we have a smallish house and often wonder were this next little one will fit... Lucky they are small!

Our beautiful girls, Hannah 5 and Lydia 2, are sharing a room which is working out fine for the moment.

My very patient and loving husband has lost his study area as of now but we are trying very hard to make a little corner in our bedroom. We did think our corners were bigger so not sure how its going to end up but we'll make it happen.

Hannah has completed a half a year of Kindergarten and we are so proud of all she has achieved this year! Leaps and Bounds!!

OK blog interrupted... Miss Lydia is wanting The Big Bad Wolf on (Three little pigs)! Recent obsession with her, ah they joys of a 2 year old!

My little darling Hannah is asleep... So i thought i would jump on here and post.

Our lives have been great!
Dan's job is amazing...the company he works for are showing Dan how much they appreciate him which is just amazing, compared to his last job! We are getting a second car at the end of the month which is an answer to our prayers as I am at home without a car...I am so happy now!!!!
Hannah is growing in leaps and bounds. Last night she really wanted to come and lie down in mummy's bed, I was feeling rather nice so I let her, I had the most amazing moment with her... We were both laying on our sides looking at each other and there was this most amazing unseen bond I have ever felt... it was so beautiful just lying in the dark looking into each others eyes knowing that we are going to go through different seasons but we will always be mother and daughter...
Prior to this wonderful moment, when I first layed her on the bed, she was laying all over my side and I still had to get into bed, so I said "hannah can you move over please?" SHe replyed "ok mummy". So i got in bed and then I hear this cute little squeaky voice say "say thank you Hannah" So I said "Thank you Hannah" and she said "Good Girl" !!! It was so cute! So I'm glad that all the hard work of parenting is working, it is a bit funny when your 2yr old pulls you up on it though...hehe!

Christmas / New Year!

Welcome 2008!

Wow how fast was last year! Couldn't keep up with it sometimes...and now here we are in 2008 and nearly over with the first month.

We had a great Christmas over here. Hannah was so funny she thought that every morning had to be Christmas morning so she was rather upset when she stopped getting presents.

We are very much looking forward to this year! We have a great God and we are looking to forward to seeing what He has instore for us this year.

Well our baby girl really isn't a baby anymore... She is now a big girl as she likes to tell us.

She turned two on the 18th and we all had a wonderful day!

I have updated our pics so you can all feel apart of this amazing milestone!

We are very proud of her and we are still in awe of our wonderful God who lets us raise this amazing little girl...

Potty Training...

The time has come...

We are potty training Hannah!
So far its been pretty good. She has done wee's in her potty, and out of her potty. Why does she go out of her potty right when I walk out of the room for just 1 minute?
I didnt realise how how full on this stage is, we have to be so consistent which has meant not much going out of the house. But they say after a couple of weeks they really start to pick up on it. We will see...

Well must go check on her to make sure there has been no "accidents"!

It's Finally Here!

Ok guys maybe 2008 will be a better year for me with this whole blogging experience....

But I have finally put all our recent pics on here for you to see how our baby girl is growing up! She will be 2 in 2 weeks! I can't believe it! And of course she is just adorable:)

We are all getting ready for Christmas over here... Its a wonderful time of the year! Hannah is really enjoying it and is warming up to Santa so maybe she will get her photo taken with him soon.

We went to the Christmas tree farm last saturday and we have tagged our tree and we pick it up this saturday! I am so excited! We also put most of our lights on our house tonight... they look so pretty.

Well I hope to post again soon... Merry Christmas Everyone....

Well it's safe to say that we are experiencing an early summer over this part of the world!
Today is 31 degrees with a westerly wind that doesn't help at all. I'm praying for the fire season to be out of the ordinary and there be no disastrous fires at all!

Hannah is running around with just a Nappie on today as it is way too hot for clothes!
Wish I was two years old again and could get away with that!

A bit of an update from us...
We had a long weekend over here two weeks ago and we went away to Old Bar with my family. We had a very relaxing time and it was way too short... I do have some pics but i have to get them off mum and dads computer as we do not have a camera at the moment, so be sure that you will see some updated pics very soon...

Other then the trip away not much out of the ordinary is happening, we are still marveling at how much more beautiful our daughter gets everyday and it is so much fun to hear her talking all the time. I had to remind Dan the other night that she is a girl and is in training to have about 20,000 words to say a day, he was wondering if she ever stopped. Along with her eating she starts when she wakes up and stops when she goes to bed... We wouldn't have it any other way:)

Well we just wanted to let you know we are all well and still here!

We're happy little Vegemites....

Ok, it has come to my attention that some people might not know much about Vegemite... to all my overseas friends...this is what it is... a spread that you put on bread or anyway you want it really. It's black, smells very salty and to some people is just down right awful. But to me, and most Aussies, its a God send. I love it all the time...

I thought i would add the song lyrics that was from the advertisement back in the 40's i think it was...

Well our little girl is certainly growing up fast!

She has been going to swimming lessons for about 6 weeks and has just been put up to Level 2! I am excited for her but also a bit sad as now I won't be able to go in with her... she is becoming so independent! She had her first lesson on Monday and she did great!

I nearly started crying when she went in by herself, I was so proud of her, you can't hold it inside!!! Agh now i'm getting teary just thinking about it.

The craft show was great... and a bit overwhelming. I did get inspired and now I have a purpose for my knitting. I am going to knit for Premmie babies in the hospitals. It is great to know that you can be used in a way that blesses others...

So I will go now and will try and remember to get some updated pics off mum and dad...

The Stitches & Craft Show

That's where I'll be today... See I have taken up knitting. I love it!
My Granny has been trying to get me to knit for years, and I have tried and failed. But since becoming a mother I have this confidence that I can do all things!
So my first project was to knit my sister bed socks for her birthday... and with the watchful eye of my granny next to me, I Did it!
So now i'm hooked and I will be knitting something for Hannah very soon.
Thus the reason for the Stitches and Craft Show I need some inspiration...

Also in my last post I was thinking that this post I will post all about me and my life, but then I realised that by me posting all the time you will see who I am anyway... So here goes...
